Staying at Hotel Hermes was quite the treat for our New Year escape! Right from the get-go, the welcoming staff made us feel at home; it's that genuine Romanian hospitality that warms your heart. Our triple room surprised us with its spacious layout - much more than you'd expect from a 3-star place - with cozy beds that made us feel like we were in a luxury suite. The location was perfect; just a short stroll to delightful cafes and restaurants where we could sample local delicacies. Plus, having free parking behind the hotel was a huge relief, given our road trip through the beautiful Carpathians. Don't even get me started on the breakfast - a great variety and fantastic coffee - the perfect fuel for a day of adventure! If you're looking for a base to explore Alba Iulia and enjoy both comfort and charm, this is the place to be. As an adventure guide who's spent countless nights in mountain lodges, I can say that Hotel Hermes is a fantastic find!
